Slowly but surely, we are getting our rythm back and begining to crawl back into the 1.9's. Good job tonight by Brian and also Gary Sr. with fastest lap times of the season so far.

Next time pro's will be racing Outlaw bodies so times should even get faster!

New Class

New Class!!!!

FCR Class:

Starting after Christmas break we will be starting a new class on Tuesday nights formerly known as the FCR class. There will still be Novice and Pro races but in addition  to that there will be this new class. Here are the rules:

$12 to race in this class plus $7 if you choose to race in Novice or Pro.

All that you have to bring is an FCR body, your controller, and your oils and juices.

Sal will provide the cars: You do not touch them, you can only oil them, practice them, and then they must return to the tech table where they will remain until the race begins.

You then will get your car back when the race begins.

Sal will maintain the tires, braids, and motors.

Each car will have the same gear ratio and amount of weight which WILL NOT be added replaced or removed without Authorization!

We hope to make this a popular class.

Racing Tuesday October 23rd

Hi Everyone,

We will be racing on Tuesday October 23 at Hobby & Trophy World

(22 McDermott Ave. Torrington CT 06790)

Racing will start around 6:15 P.M. starting with the novice class, the same rules apply as last year for the novice drivers.

Next will be pro's with the Truck bodies this week and next week.

To see the complete rules click on Tuesday Night Rules

I suggest getting there around 5:30, at the latest to practice and prepare for the race.

If you will not be able to attend, or if you will be running late, please call 860-496-9646 or email me: coteelhs@gmail.com so we know if you will or will not be attending.

Thanks and see you on Tuesday,

-Eric

Revised Rules for 2012-2013 Season

Hi Racer's:

On Tuesday the 25th of September, we altered the rules for only pro drivers.

Novice will remain unchanged.

After a long discussion, we have decided that the the pro's will run alternating bodies as follow's 2 weeks of NASTRUCK, 2 of weeks Outlaw, 2 weeks of NASCAR in that order.

I will let you know when we run each body but the schedule is as follows for the first 6 weeks of Pro races:

NASTRUCK- Tuesday November 6th
NASTRUCK- Tuesday November 13th

Outlaw- Tuesday November 20th
Outlaw- Tuesday November 27th

NASCAR- Tuesday December 4th
NASCAR- Tuesday November 11th

If we miss a race for some reason, we must get 2 in a row of each body so, the following Tuesday we will race the body that was supposed to be raced the week before.

After Christmas break, we will be changing the motors from open Death Star motors to Falcon motors.

On the Tuesday we start Falcon motors, we will also reset the body rotation back to Trucks and begin a points championship. One points championship for Trucks, one for Outlaws, and one for NASCAR.

I will let you know how the points system will work closer to the beginning.
